Neil Gaiman, of Stardust and Coraline is my new favorite writer. Last week he was in Berkeley, and I was lucky enough to be able to attend his reading of Coraline there. It was really great. I've got pictures of the event over at my main page, www.standarddeviant.org . I also recommend Neverwhere and American Gods, but it sounds like you've got a lot on your plate right now. Was much the fun (although by 10:45 when we finally clocked out my feet were in so much pain I thought I was going to die), and we 3 live far too close together to not see each other more often.

We shall have to become better planners.

Sounds like you guys are having a great time... and Neil Gaiman is amazing. I'm reading "American Gods" right now, which is just SO good so far. Anyways, have fun in Monterey. smile
