Cellophane Flowers v.1 |
My first blog layout! Before this, the blog was housed within Restless Innocence, but I chose
to separate it out and give it a title and layout of it's own. I really wanted to do something
with "Moulin Rouge," but it seemed MR layouts were already all over the place. But no one had a
Green Fairy layout, and I just loved the Green Fairy, so Cellophane Flowers was born under her
wing.

Cellophane Flowers v.2 |
Olivia is the coolest pig ever. Seriously. If you don't know who Olivia is, I highly recommend
reading the Olivia children's books by Ian Falconer. They're sweet, smart, and funny and Olivia
is a great character, a perfect pig for my blog.

 |

Cellophane Flowers v.3 |
Anyone who reads my blog on a regular basis knows I adore my cousins and am constantly posting
pictures of them in the blog. So I figured, why not make a layout featuring them? I had
so many pics, it was easy to find fun and silly ones for the layout.

 |

Cellophane Flowers v.4 |
After I bought the "Singin' in the Rain" DVD, I had a huge desire to make a layout for it. So
instead of focusing on the whole movie, I chose my favorite scene: Gene Kelly dancing and
singing in the rain. And the colors/theme just happened to fit the season when I posted it!
|
|

Cellophane Flowers v.5 |
I needed a more spring-like layout near the end of March 2003, and with the end of BtVS fast
approaching in May, I figured that would be an appropriate theme. I chose to go with Buffy
caps from the episode "Restless" for the layout, as my favorite episode, "Innocence" would
have been much to depressing for spring layout. :)

|

Cellophane Flowers v.6 |
After I saw "Finding Nemo" in May 2003, I just knew I had to make a layout for it. So in
June 2003, this layout debuted. As you can probably tell from the amount she's featured in the
layout and that quote above the blog, Dory is my favorite character.
|
|

Cellophane Flowers v.7 |
In my anticipation for the release of "Return of the King" in December 2003, I had to make another
LotR layout. I had already done one for Restless Innocence, and since the blog was due for a new
layout, I created this Eowyn layout for the site. Eowyn is one of my favorite characters in the
books and the movies, and I found these gorgeous pictures of Miranda Otto as Eowyn and it just
had to be done.
|
|

Cellophane Flowers v.8 |
I held onto the Eowyn layout for as long as possible, but eventually it had been up almost six months, so the blog was due for a change.
I had really been missing Cordy during Season 5 of Angel and after "You're Welcome" aired, I just had
to create a layout featuring her. And the purple just seemed to fit her, so the layout was born!
|
|

Cellophane Flowers v.9 |
I had a hard time coming up with a new layout idea, but I knew I wanted a change. And with my
excitement for the upcoming Season Four of Alias, it just seemed to fit!
|
|

Cellophane Flowers v.10 |
So Season Four of Alias didn't quite live up to my expectations, so in April 2005, I had to make a change.
And since I'd been falling madly in love with Veronica Mars, it was just a matter of time before
it showed up in a layout. This has become the permanent layout for the blog since I decided to close it in November 2005. The archives remain up with this as the layout for the site.
