...Have been greatly exaggerated. Yes, I am alive and well! I'm so sorry for my long absence, but we had my family visiting for the past month, so I was extremely busy and wasn't on the computer much. But I did have a wonderful time with my relatives! I took last week off work to spend the time with my Grandma and Uncle John. The 14th was my birthday, but we didn't do too much that day since we had gone to Big Sur on the 12th and San Juan Bautista on the 13th. Still, it was a very pleasant birthday and I got exactly what I wanted... a blue iPod Mini! Yay! It's so pretty and is now filled with my lovely music. Woot woot!
It was so nice to have my relatives here... my Aunt Jackie and cousin Ena only stayed until August 7th, but we had a lot of fun with them... we visited Bodega Bay, Pier 39, Santa Cruz, and had a pool party with Dad's family as well while they were here. I miss them already! We kept buying lotto and Mega Millions tickets in the hope we'd win and be able to get the whole family to move out here. I wish!
My Grandma stayed for almost a month, and this past week, I went with my Grandma and Uncle John to stay at my Aunt Tina's... we had a crazy but fun week there. Tuesday was Sonoma, Wednesday was wine tasting in Napa (yummy!), and Thursday was the twins' play at school and Sacramento in the afternoon. It was pretty much non-stop action, but I still had a wonderful time. My Grandma and Uncle John flew home yesterday morning, so things have now quieted down significantly.
Today I slept in (first time in weeks! YAY!) and spent the early part of the day lounging around. And in the late afternoon, my lovely friend Lucy treated me (and her sister Kathy) to La Fondue for our birthdays. It was heavenly, but I don't think I'll be eating anything for a while... it was so much food! But everything was absolutely delicious... mmmmm. We were there for about two and a half hours, but it really didn't feel like that long because we were having so much fun. I must take Susan there for cheese and chocolate fondues next time she's around.
Well... I guess that's about it... I would ramble about TV shows, but I'm too tired. But I will mention that Battlestar Galactica has been superb, as usual, and The 4400 has been rocking lately (yay Doug Petrie!).
Alrighty, that's it for me. Later gators! I should hopefully be blogging again soon.
