Grr. Argh. I suck. Completely forgot about taping "Tru Calling" tonight. ARGH. Why why why? Where is my mind going? I've been feeling so out of the loop this week. Probably because I've been spending most of my time moving chosentwo.com files to our new server (yes, Rae, Susan, and I found a new home. wheeeeee!) and just stressing in general about the move. I think I've got everything up. Just have to wait for the DNS to transfer now. Oh... and wait for the new domain (no, not revealing it yet) to be set up so I can transfer my Freeze Frame sites there. More uploading. Joy!

Work is also extremely stressful. Sigh. The branch is closing TWO WEEKS from Saturday. And there's an insane amount of things to be done. Daniel and I have been working on the inventory for a week already and it's insane. We spent an hour today counting acrylic shelving units. Waaaaaaaaay too many of those. And there were like 15+ different sizes... meaning we had to measure all of them. Insanity, I tell you! In happier news though, I was finally given my re-assignment location - Willow Glen Branch! Which was my first choice. Wheeeeeee! The only thing that depresses me is that the our staff is being completely split up... no one is going to the same new branch. Sigh. Hopefully we'll all be allowed to return to Rosegarden once the new building is finished and ready to open.

So, to sum up the above paragraphs, my life = busy busy busy.

Got my Two Towers Extended Edition DVD. Woot! Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but planning to see it manana. Need to get started on the commentaries and documentaries! Btw, for those who haven't watched it yet, the Easter Egg is HILARIOUS. Directions for finding it are here.

Eeeewww. Billy Bob Thornton is on "The Daily Show." Does anyone else dislike him as much as me? Yick. Thank goodness for Jon Stewart. I love Jon. God, BBT is an ass. Blech. Moving on.

I gave Daphne her first bath yesterday. She was NOT happy. And she's a squirmy cat, so it was extremely hard to keep her in the tub and a lot of water ended up on the walls and the floor. But she needed it. She had gotten into some soot or something, and her head and back were covered in it. Nasty, dirty stuff. Not good for my kitty. So now she is lovely, soft and clean. I'm sure Dawn was thrilled it was Daph who got the bath, and not her.

Rae already said it, but it's worth repeating: "Love Actually" is a GREAT movie. Everyone should go see it. Immediately! Seriously... go now! In other news, however, "Matrix Revolutions" is not so great. Pretty crappy. I'm just going to live in Fantasy Land and pretend that there were no sequels to "The Matrix." 'Cause that movie rocked. All the way.

1. What TV show is currently your favorite? Alias! Love that show. CSI is also a fave.

2. Have you started watching any of the new shows this season? The OC, Tru Calling, Joan of Arcadia, Carnivale and Miss Match. I know, I watch too much TV.

3. Any shows which you're surprised are still on the air? Many, many. Most of the reality shows (I can't believe people watch that crap).

4. Any shows which you're surprised to have been cancelled? Boomtown. I know the ratings weren't great, but NBC didn't even give it a chance this season. (And what the heck did they think the ratings would be like when they stuck it on Fridays at 10pm?)

5. Are there any new shows that you're watching simply because of one actor/actress? Tru Calling for Eliza and Miss Match for Alicia (though I thought the concept for both was intriguing).

6. Have you tuned into anything this season that you've never watched before but that has been around for a bit? No. I started watching Gilmore Girls last season (having only seen a couple episodes before that), but nothing this season. (Like I need more TV shows to watch, right?)

7. Of all shows that you watch, are there any that have ended recently, or will end soon that you can't imagine your TV line up without? Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'm still in mourning. Nothing on TV will ever compare.

I kept promising bloggage and it's finally here! I know you're all thrilled, right?

Had a lovely Halloween weekend. Trick-or-treating with the kids was quite fun. I don't even want to guess at how much candy I had over the weekend... mostly Sweet Tarts and Laffy Taffy (yummmm). Saturday was spent shopping with Tina, Mike and the kids. And that evening Tina and I went to see "Mystic River" while Eric and Layla saw "Scary Movie 3." MR was excellent. I highly recommend it! Sunday we all went out to breakfast (except Mike and Kimmie... Kimmie was sick so Mike stayed home with her) and then I headed home. Not the most adventurous of weekends, but it was very enjoyable.

Been busy with work this week... lots of craziness going on as my branch is closing sometime in December (they're demolishing the building and constructing a brand new one in it's place), so the staff will be sent out to other branches within the library system. So naturally, all of us are worried about where we're going to be sent. Sigh sigh. We'll see. Hopefully we'll be told soon.

In other news, I am now the proud owner of "Finding Nemo" on DVD. Wheeeeee! Love love love this movie. Dory is the coolest.

Hey folks. Rae and I are giving up on Infinet. We're so tired of their crap. Does anyone know anything about Flexihostings? We just need to get more info before jumping to a new host... don't want to end up with another Infinet.
