In other newness news... new sites abound (okay, two aren't that new, but I kept forgetting to mention them). Opened an icon site as I thought 245 was a bit too many to have on one page here at the blog. Behold Iconographic. Thomas rocks for thinking of the title. And three new fanlistings to boot: Almost Two Years for the Alias Season 2 finale, "The Telling." This one was given to Susan and I by Addie. Addie rocks! Next up, Our Mr. Reynolds in honor of Malcolm Reynolds from "Firefly." Also co-run with Susan. And lastly, Precocious Pig for the Olivia book series and the character of Olivia from said series. Yes, I am insane. Thank you very much.

Hmmmm. I'm bored and have nothing to blog about (this is why I never ever blog, Angie! ). Siiiiiigh. Yeah, my life is not all that exciting. I'm sure I could rant about something or other... hmmm. How about the annoying kids that come to the library everyday? But does anyone really want to hear about the little twerps? I highly doubt it.

Oh hey... just remembered something to blog about... a plea of sorts. Did anyone out there tape the CBS show "Now & Again" when it was on a few years ago? I adored the show, but didn't think to tape it when it was on, as I assumed it was doing well and wouldn't be canceled (stupid CBS)... have since learned my lesson, btw. Sci-Fi was supposed to show N&A a while back, but they only aired the first few episodes before taking it off the air. Argh. So evil. Tarina would also love to see the show, so we'd be forever grateful if someone can send me a copy of the full season, which I can then copy and send to Tarina.

So tired today. Work was rather busy... still had fallout from our massive computer system failure on Tuesday. Yeah, that was a blast. Monday was a holiday, so Tuesday was bound to be insane anyways, but there was a power outage, which crashed the servers at Main Library and it screwed something up and ended up taking almost 24 hours for IT to get everything back up and running. Whee. Today we were told the cause of said outage. And it was so stupid that I just had to laugh. Apparently some "high ranking personnel" member was visiting the server room and accidentally pushed the big red emergency button (which I'm told was clearly marked), thus shutting down the power to the servers and screwing everything up. Ooooooookay.

In other news, parents are home. They got back right before 12am yesterday... Shasta was quite happy to see them, as was I. Bryan, not so much.

What is up with networks (NBC and CBS, namely) showing repeats instead of the originally scheduled new episodes? No new West Wing last night, and then no Friends, Scrubs or CSI tonight. Phooey. It'd be nice if they gave us advance notice instead of just randomly changing the episode at the last minute. Anyways... whatever. Networks are evil.

Okay... I must crash... my bed is calling me. Night all!

Ummm... yeah. Rae, Susan? I'm moving to either of your states... who has room? Seriously. WTF is wrong with the other people in this state? Are they idiots? Apparently so. I can't even watch the coverage on TV because I'm in fear that the ass himself will come on TV and speak. Which I really don't need to hear 'cause we all know he has nothing intelligent or informative to say. Whatever. Moving on.

Can we all tell this blog is extremely EKT? Can't help it. Sorry. Feeling slightly incoherent thanks to the glass of wine I just had and my exhaustion from work today. It's all good though, right?

1. What vehicle do you drive? A silver 2000 Saturn SL1

2. How long have you had it? About 3 years.

3. What is the coolest feature on your vehicle? Hmmm. It's not really a super swank vehicle or anything (though I love it 'cause it's my car), but it has a CD player and air conditioning... does that count?

4. What is the most annoying thing about your vehicle? I really can't think of anything. My car is pretty nice.

5. If money were no object, what vehicle would you be driving right now? I've always wanted a VW Jetta, but if money was no object, I'm sure I'd be driving something much cooler than that.

So my brother is still driving me nuts, but I'm dealing. Only a week to go. Had a lovely weekend a few days ago. Tina and the kids came to visit on Saturday and spent the night. Saturday night we braved the newly opened Oakridge Mall (madhouse!) to see a movie at the new 20 screen theatre there (we saw Secondhand Lions - excellent movie, though I was pissed that they didn't show the RotK trailer... obviously I had already downloaded it, but still!). Sunday we went the park, then visited Winchester Mystery House because it turns out Tina had never been there (despite having been in California for almost 20 years). The twins got tired near the end from all the walking, but everyone else enjoyed it. Then we had lunch at Bill's Cafe (yum) and then it was time for them to head home. Very glad they came.
